An Evening in Barcelona - Thursday, July 11 at 6:30P
Becca and I lived in Barcelona from 2011 – 2014 and fell in love with the city, the people, the food, the art and architecture, the drink – everything about the lifestyle. We learned to slow down a bit – and take the time to really savor the freshness of seasonal food, the complexities of wine and how it varied by grape and region, and to be honest, we relearned the art of meaningful conversation. I received an early introduction to many of these things from Sam Lardner, a long-time expat in Barcelona to whom I was introduced to by a mutual friend. Sam invited me to lunch – it was going to be a special lunch in Vallgorguina at the “masia” of a chef – with several chefs and winemakers in attendance. The food from multiple chefs – all of whom brought their “A game” to impress the others. My first introduction to great Cava, great Priorats, and what Gin Tonic culture is all about. Now we'd like to invite you to join us for “An Evening in Barcelona” on Golden Dog Farm on Thursday, July 11
