La Adelita - (1905 - 1914) Mexican Revolutionary SoldierAdelitas were female “soldaderas” who bravely fought and traveled side by side with soldiers during the Mexican Revolution. Often of mestiza or indigenous origin, these women were of all ages and were from all over the country. The song “La Adelita” is one of the most famous corridos of the Mexican Revolution.
