Viburnum nudum - Smooth Witherod

A rounded, multi-stemmed, upright-spreading, deciduous shrub that typically grows in the wild to 5-12’ tall and wide. It is native to low woods, swamps and bogs in the eastern and southeastern U.S. The blooms are showy and fragrant in flat-topped clusters and give way to showy berries of various colors. Berry production is best if more than one shrub is planted. Foliage is smoother and more lustrous than most viburnums and fall color is always good.
