Blackhaw is a sturdy, shapely shrub or small tree, 12-15 ft. tall with an upright form and rounded shape. Bears white flower clusters followed by yellow berries that mature to a purplish-black and are eaten by both humans and birds. Viburnums set fruit better with more than one shrub for pollination.
