Please send photos of the old and new steering wheels to info@gpsadapter.us before ordering. We can help confirm which adapter and parts are needed. Upgrading to a 971 Panamera–style steering wheel requires replacing the entire wiring harness inside the new steering wheel. This wiring harness is included with our adapter kits for 971-style steering wheels. The required wiring harness part number is 95B-971-388-B, as shown in the photo below. Changing drive modes using the steering wheel mode switch is not supported by the STMV1-971 adapter. The mode switch LED functions only as a drive mode indicator and does not control mode selection.
