This complete rebuild / overhaul kit is for the passenger car 8.8, commonly found in the 2001-2005 Ford Mustang Cobra, 1989-1995 Ford Thunderbird (iron case), and 1993-1998 Lincoln Mark VIII. This case can easily be distinguished from the Explorer diff by its smaller front mounting ears. This is a full set up kit for the 8.8 IRS.
