The FARMA BC 25 is a strong and powerful tree shear for excavators from 5-12 tons.   It uses two powerful cylinders to quickly and efficiently close the grapple; cutting through the wood while firmly holding it in place until you`re ready to release it. The replaceable knife is made of high strength steel. Only 1 set of hydraulic outlets is required so if you already have a hydraulic thumb on your excavator, you can use those to run the grapple open/ close function. Alternatively, a hydraulic multiplier valve could be installed in the bucket-tilt line.
