Koelz of the USDA. Productive, this hull-less barley is a reliable addition for short-season growers seeking to enhance self-reliance. Kernels have a protein content of 12% and a beta glucan content of 6.75% (beta glucan has positive effects on heart health and cholesterol levels, in addition to boosting immunity and stabilizing blood sugar levels.)
