Our tea powders are directly sourced from the largest, family owned, green tea manufacturer in Japan. Located on the Osumi peninsula in Kagoshima, the teas are grown and produced in one of the top two growing regions in Japan. The region hosts an abundance of cultivars, offering first flush and ceremonial grade teas, while providing a truly local and authentic product that honors the tradition of tea. This matcha boasts a vibrant green color indicative of higher chlorophyll levels found in shade grown first flush harvests.  You will find an extremely balanced, clean, sweet matcha profile compared to other grades that tend to taste more vegetal and finish with more bitterness.
