 Green Noise / Stardumb Exclusive: Green Vinyl edition of 100 copies.  (In Europe, order from Stardumb Records) Another essential 7" slab of wax from Dirtnap Records, this London outfit really nailing it with these three songs, each one a punch to the heart and sounding like a hit single, the cuts fitting together wonderfully while also showing different shades of their sound, focusing on the pop explosive, the influences appearing to come from their homeland England, from glam outfits all the way back to the Kinks, the Beatles, the Hollies and the Zombies, but also recalling some of the late 1970s UK outfits that influenced other bands on the Dirtnap roster, and the possible influence of some of the best American garage rock / power pop outfits from 1960s and 1970s.  Anyway you look at it, it's another timeless gem from Dirtnap Records. -- winch (green noise)A.
