The Seckel Pear tree (Pyrus communis ‘Seckel’) produces a small dessert pears that are super-sweet with a hint of spice. Ayers delicate white blossoms show up in early spring, giving way to plump small in size pears, full of creamy sweet aromatic flesh. Often used in cooking and canning, but also enjoyed fresh. The pears can last up to five months in storage.
