"One of the cooler old airports still with heavy use. From its opening in 1931 until the opening of PIA in 1952 it was the main airport of Pittsburgh. This building is a great example of art deco applied to airports. When originally opened this was the third largest airfield in the US and the only one that was paved." Google Maps review. October 2021 by Greg D.
