All Inclusive Beginner Stained Glass Class

Date: Sunday June 22nd Time: 10am - 4pm Location: Chemical 14 Gallery, 4315 Royal St, New Orleans, LA 70117, Bywater  In this class we will go over the basic steps of the copper foil method of stained glass.  You will learn to trace, cut, grind, foil, clean, solder and (time allowing) patina your own piece.  All glass making tools and materials will be provided, however, if you want to use a specific color or piece of class you are responsible for bringing it (no heavily textured glass).  Things you must bring to class: Safety glasses (or regular glasses if you need them) Apron (keep glass shards and lead away from your clothing) There will be multiple patterns to choose from and an assortment of colored glass. Remember, the focus of this class is to learn the basics, not make your full window masterpiece!
