They strive to educate the public through sharing knowledge and stories about the lives of farmed animals that inspire a compassionate lifestyle. Home for Hooves are a volunteer run, registered Charity organization in Duncan BC, that offers a forever home for rescued farm animals who are abandoned, seized by the S.P.C.A., or surrendered due to various circumstances. Their Sanctuary was founded in September 2017 and we are the first and only Farm Sanctuary in Canada to be Accredited by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries.They currently care for nearly 200 residents including pigs, goats, sheep, cattle, horses, donkeys, chickens, geese, ducks, turkeys, peafowl, dogs, guinea pigs, and cats.
