[ENGRAVING] Albany, from Van-Unsselaens Island. Boston: Samuel Walker, 1846. [11045] The full leaf measures 9 x 11 1/2 inches. The engraving is about 8 x 6 inches. Some edge-wear and light stains most of which will not be visible when matted and framed.  Good. This island was later called Van Rensselaer Island. The land is still there, but the channel to the eastern side has been filled in, and it is no longer an island. Removed from The History and Topography of The United States of North America...&c. By John Howard Hinton, Boston: 1846. Artist: W. G. Wall; engraved by T. S. Woodcock.
