Pictured is a view of Mount Everest from the Kala Patthar Summit, a vantage point across from the world’s tallest peak. Only Everest’s summit is visible, as its lower slopes are obscured by the towering West Shoulder and Nuptse. Steep cliffs, massive glaciers, and snow-covered ridges dominate this dramatic alpine landscape.
