Essay Writing+ Public Speaking 文体写作与演讲

课程简介： * 学习在校必学的三种文体的写作：说明文，议论文，和记叙文* 学习并应用不同文体所需的写作技巧 (对话，引用，等）* 通过小组活动，学习与人合作，二人交流，并锻炼个人文体的写作能力 Course Description: * Learn to write the 3 genres offered in school courses (informative, opinion, narrative)* Become proficient with the contents offered in each genre of writing (dialogues, quotes, etc.)* Learn communication and public speaking through activities that require teamwork between students Instructors 小老师介绍 Yilin a rising Freshmen at Los Gatos High school. I attended many writing competitions and ranked highest in my language arts class. I've practiced Speech and Debate for 3 years while attending national tournaments at Stanford and Berkeley. I am fluent in English and proficient in Chinese. In this class, students will learn to write the 3 genres offered in school courses (Informative, Opinion, Narrative), obtain communication and teamwork abilities, understand the basic structure of essay writing, and become knowledgeable in basic public speaking skills.
