The resinous, sweet smelling, bright green narrow leaves give them their common name. Like other plants in the Asteraceae family, in the fall, Turpentine bush produces masses of bright yellow flowers above the tiny green leaves. Due to their drought tolerance, toughness and wide adaptability they can serve many functions in the landscape.
