Ericameria laricifolia Turpentine Bush stretches from CA to TX. This resilient native plant is evergreen and compact. They form perfect, medium sized, naturally rounded shrubs. The resinous, sweet smelling, bright green narrow leaves give them their common name. Like other plants in the Asteraceae family, in the fall, Turpentine bush produces masses of bright yellow flowers above the tiny green leaves. Due to their drought tolerance, toughness and wide adaptability they can serve many functions in the landscape. Like other natives, they appreciate extra water when they are first transplanted and during spring & summer weather with little to none during the winter, unless it is unseasonably dry. Exposure Full to part sun Grows to 2 feet high x 3-4 feet wide Hardiness Zone 6-11 Got questions? Learn how to plant with help from our blog!
