Agate Cabochon, Red Hot Geode Agate Mexico, Agate Cab

This beautiful agate cabochon has a unique look with both banding and dendrites that occur in banding patterns. This is a rare agate type that forms in nodules referred to as Berrando agate or Red Hot agate. It's known for bright colors and unique banding patterns. This is a domed oval that's polished on all sides. It's a nice size that could be used in many different applications. This cabochon measures: .81H x .54 W x .21 thickness in inches or 21 x 14 x 5.4 mm. Stone cabochons can have natural imperfections. I work to limit or eliminate them in the stones I cut but you should keep in mind that natural stones are seldom perfect.
