Lake Superior Paint Agate, Wisconsin Agate, Silver Ring Size 7

This Lake Superior agate ring features a beautiful multicolor paint type agate that I found on a northern Wisconsin trail. I cut this from a pebble size agate so it's the only piece I made from this rough stone. This agate has really beautiful banding and great color with deep orange. The stone has really nice banding as well. I used hand forged and formed recycled sterling for everything in this design. I added a pebble style texture to the band and bezel that holds the stone then antiqued the setting (intentional darkening of the silver) to really bring out the patterns.  The stone measures about 11.5 x 9.5 in mm. I cut it in a domed oval. This ring is a set size 7 U.S.  Our stones are mirror polished and so there will be reflections in the pictures. We take pictures in direct bright light that simulates what your stone will look like in direct sunlight. Stones look very different in low or artificial light. If it's dark when you receive them you can use the flashlight feature on you
