UP Michigan Prehnite Ring Size 7 in Solid Silver

This stone and ring were crafted by me within our home in Wisconsin. The stone in this ring is a natural paricianite that I found in the UP of Michigan. We find most of our prehnite snorkeling which when the water is warm enough is really amazing. Michigan prehnite ("pre-night") is a natural copper bearing stone. The pink color you see is from micro copper flecks within it. Stones of this type are fairly rare and small so you don't often see them in jewelry. It's a beautiful stone that's not very well known so odds are good that you won't know anyone else who has one. This ring is a set size 7. I made the setting from solid sterling and fine silver using recycled silver for the band and the back of the setting which I hand forged, formed and textured with a pebble like design.
