Madagascar Hissing Roach

Care guide included in every order. These are very large cockroaches (up to 3 inches) from the tropical island of Madagascar. They are commonly kept as pets and can live up to five years with proper care. Males have small horns protruding from its head and will bump heads with other males to fight for territory and females. Both sexes will hiss by expelling air out of their abdomen when disturbed.  Our hissing roaches are fed with organic vegetables and fruits. They are healthy, chemical free, and completely safe as pets or feeder insects. They are great as beginner pets for kids, classroom pets, or simply as an interesting addition to your exotic pet collection. These roaches are easily kept in a small critter keeper and feed on fruits and vegetables. For winter shipping, you can add a heatpack here.
