Bentonite Clay

Bentonite clay, also called Montmorillonite, has been used for centuries for purification and healing. Today it is well-known and used in many toothpastes, shampoos, lotions, and dietary supplements. Bentonite clay, the ultimate remineralizing agent, has many benefits to incorporate as part of the daily oral care regimen. It has superfine particles that are effective for polishing the outer layer of the teeth. Additionally, bentonite expands after getting wet thereby increasing its size and changing its electrical charge to negative. This turns it into a sponge-like structure that allows it to absorb unwanted particles for a robust, clean mouth.  Scoop lightly from jar with toothbrush, brush one to two minutes, then rinse well.
