Higher than a kite~ the 16,010 ft sticker is lifted! That number is higher than a kite has ever flown—16,010 feet. One night in Oregon around a dinner table, we asked ourselves, "How high do kites fly?"  We simply asked Siri . . . and much to our surprise, there was an answer: The highest a kite has ever flown is 16,009 ft.The Guinness Book of World records recorded the highest a kite has ever flown was 4,879m or 16.009 feet.  This sticker is 16,010 ft so it is "Higher than a Kite." Technically, the height of the kite was 4,8790m. and it was measured off the western edge of Australia. Thanks, Guinness Book of World Records!
