Courtyard with Koi Pond St Augustine original painting

This original painting, measuring 36x36 inches, depicts the captivating courtyard of the Lightner Museum, formerly known as the Hotel Alcazar. This is my second portrayal of this historic space, featuring the covered arched walkway that encircles the courtyard. The building, a four-story structure made of poured concrete mixed with locally sourced shells, houses small shops, offices, and the museum itself. Palm trees stretch gracefully towards the sun, while a serene koi pond with a charming bridge serves as the centerpiece of the courtyard. The atmosphere exudes tranquility and a sense of sanctuary, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling town. This original acrylic painting is presented on a 1.5” gallery-wrapped canvas, where the artwork extends seamlessly onto the edges. The canvas has been varnished to ensure protection and longevity. May use a dry or clean damp rag to dust. It comes equipped with a wire on the back, making it convenient and effortless to hang right away. P
