220 Superwash Aran Wave by Cascade Yarns (heavy worsted/aran)

220 Superwash® Aran Wave is a color shift yarn with colorways ranging from bright, contrasting hues to more uniform gradations. Each skein has a unique look due to varying color alignment in its multi-ply construction. This yarn is well-suited for a cozy sweater (especially for colorwork in the yoke), scarf, or any project that needs a durable 100% wool. Fiber Content: 100% Superwash Wool Weight/Yardage: 100g / 150 yds (137.5 m) Knitting Gauge: 16 - 18 sts = 4" (10 cm) on US 8-9 (5.5-6mm) Crochet Gauge: 11 - 14 scs = 4" (10 cm) on I-K hook (5.5-6.5mm) Care: Machine wash cool, tumble dry low We knit a scarf with this yarn, using the Farrow Rib pattern: K2, P1 across the row and every row.  We used a #8 needle and cast on 45 stitches.
