Tecolote Yellow
Tecolote Yellow has cheerful blooms of bright yellow, darkening to golden at the petal edges. Her slightly scented flowers sit atop tall 18-24” stems and each corm will produce 7-10 blooms. Tecolote Yellow is deer resistant and makes an excellent cut flower. Ranunculus do well in beds, borders, or pots. Tecolote Yellow is sold in packs of 10. Planting Instructions: Plant Ranunculus in the fall for zones 8-11 for spring blooms. In zones 4-7, store the hardened corms in a cool, dark place and plant in early spring for mid-summer blooms. Soak corms in room temperature water for 3-4 hours; avoid oversoaking. Choose an area with full sun for planting. Add compost and a balanced fertilizer to your soil. Plant corms 9” apart, 2-3” deep, with tentacles facing down in the soil. Water after planting and continue weekly watering to ensure the corms do not dry out for the remainder of the growing season.
