Antique Baluch Balisht - 1’8 x 2’8
This Baluch rug was handwoven during the early 20th century in Afghanistan. It features a geometric trellis motif in a variety of earthy reds and deep greens on a camel ground. This balisht has its original kilim back still intact and employs thick stripes of reds, blues, brown, and purple. In very good condition, with wear mostly due to oxidation of the browns and some fraying to the corners. Low pile, with a loose handle.
