This Anatolian rug was handwoven during the first quarter of the 20th century (1900-1925) in central Turkey. It features an all over ivory latchhooked diamond motif atop a light brick red field. Small 8 pointed star devices run along the main border in an array of colors including green, ivory, yellow, red, and blue. Worn to the foundation in a few areas, as pictured.
