Antique Ersari Turkmen - 8'10 x 11'

This Ersari Turkmen rug was woven during the first quarter of the 20th century in Northern Afghanistan. It features a traditional Ersari gül design with a soft palette of turquoise and indigo on a soft and faded brick-red ground with accents of natural undyed brown and ivory wool. More skeletal and interconnected secondary gülsfill in the space between the main guls. In very good condition for its considerable age.
