Antique Gabbeh Rug - 4'4 x 6'10

This vibrant Gabbeh was woven by the Qashqai during the 2nd quarter of the 20th century The design centers on bold concentric diamond medallions floating on a warm saffron field. The medallions are flanked by playful flowering shrubs and framed by a charming rosette border. The palette is exceptional: saturated indigo, terracotta, sky blue, and emerald green, all rendered in luminous natural dyes. The spontaneous drawing, thick wool pile, and joyful folk-art character mark this as an earlier Gabbeh that is graphic, personal, and full of life. A versatile size for bedrooms, living spaces, or layered interiors where warmth and individuality are desired. In  very good with some old repairs that have been lightly touched up in a few areas.
