Antique Heriz Rug - 9’2 x 11’7
This Heriz rug was handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century. This classic Heriz features a geometric central medallion on rich saturated tones and meaty wool. A brick-red field is complemented by deep navy, french blue, sage, and coral tones with brass and ivory accents. The four teal cornices soften the rug and a wonderful undulating abrash adds layers to the composition. The main border is wider than most and gives the piece a grander feel. In very good condition, wiht little to no wear. Low pile with a sturdy handle.
