Antique Sewan Kazak Rug - 6’ x 8'6

This rug is currently on HOLD This Sewan Kazak was woven in Caucasus during the 19th century.  This hybrid rug features a classic rendition of the sewan design usually found in the Caucasus. The strong shield-like medallion is rendered here in a rich red, jade, and indigo and framed by a powerful border of alternating scrolls.
