Vintage Bakhtiari Rug - 5'1 x 7'2

Bakhtiari rug handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century.  This rug is composed of two navy medallions on a rich red ground. A dark brown flanked by white and orange zigs and zags around both medallions adding some electricity. The main border is composed of rosettes and serrated leaves.  A hard to find size for Bakhtiaris of this type. In very good condition, with some wear throughout. A very durable rug in a versatile size. Low pile, with a dense floppy handle.
