Antique Shirvan Kilim Rug - 6'7 x 11'5

Shirvan kilim handwoven in the Caucasus during the early 20th century.  This kilim features a horizontally striped design, with each stripe containing geometric shapes and symbols. The color palette contains madder reds, indigo blues, deep browns, and light creams.  In excellent condition, signs of wear consistent with significant age. Flatwoven, with a light handle.
