All Over Heriz Rug - 7’ x 10’4

This Heriz rug was handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century. It features an allover design of scrolling two-tone leaves in a variety of color combinations such as black and white, turquoise and coral, and green and red on a patinated red ground. All-over designs are less common on Heriz rugs which most often feature large central medallions. The main border is composed of alternating rosettes and serrated leaves in a similar yet distinct fashion to those in the field. In Good condition with some visible wear to the face and edges.
