Mid Century Heriz Rug - 6'8 x 9’5

This Heriz rug was handwoven during the late 20th century. It features the classic Heriz design of a graphic geometric central medallion. The navy medallion is flanked by two lovely teardrop medallions on a red ground and surrounded by four ivory cornices that brighten the appearance. Appealing touches of dusty blue, coral, and caramel add interest. The main border is composed of a reciprocating palmette on a black ground which perfectly frames the composition. In very good condition for its age. Medium pile with a dense, sturdy handle.
