Mid Century Scandinavian Kilim - 5'3 x 6'6

This kilim was woven in Scandinavia during the middle of the 20th century.  This graphic kilim features a grid of various shapes that alternate in orientation in every other row.  The composition of soft tones and jagged edges is encapsulated by the main border featuring a repeat of slightly angled red and yellow stripes on a brown ground and two thinner minor sawtooth borders.
