Feng Shui Mongolian Rug - 2’1 x 4’
The pictorial rug was handwoven in Mongolia during the early 20th century. It features a mirrored design of a stag under a tree with a crane and bat flying above. The stag represents well-being, while the crane symbolizes long life, and the bat symbolizes prosperity. The color palette is minimal with ivory, dark and light blues. The whole is framed by a tightly rendered fret border. The rug is in very good condition, with some fraying on both ends and some light staining (as pictured).
