Tibetan Dragon Rug - 2’ x 5’
This small runner was handwoven in Tibet during the third quarter of the 20th century prayer mat. It features a four-clawed dragon flying through the clouds. In red, orange, and yellow scales with ivory, light, and dark green accents that pop against an open navy ground. The claws and face are rendered in red and yellow static and details like the dragon's scales and mane have been hand-carved with a razor adding extra detail and interest. Great on the floor or an excellent wall piece! In very good condition, with minimal staining and some fraying on the fringe. High pile, with a soft but dense handle.
