Timuri Baluch Bagface - 2’ x 2’2

This Baluch rug was handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century in Afghanistan. It features a pattern of jumbled "S" filled polygons in multiple shades of pink and purple on blue ground. Plush silky wool with a dark but lustrous complexion.
