100% Beeswax for Waxing Thread

Sold as a set of 2 Just over 1oz of 100% beeswax for 2 The hexagon measures 1.75” at each corner Using 100% beeswax on your thread adds strength to your hand sewing stitches and prevents your stitches from breaking or pulling undone. This is great for sewing on buttons as well. Method: 1. Thread needle with good quality thread. 2. Pull thread across the cake of beeswax. Repeat. 3. Iron the coated thread between 2 sheets of paper towel or some muslin to meld the beeswax onto the thread. Note: if you omit step 3 the beeswax will all transfer to your fabric when you take the first stitch and there will be none left for subsequent stitches.
