White clay with rich iron oxide colored clay foraged from El Capitan Nature Preserve, the hiking trail to El Cajon Mountain in Lakeside, San Diego County, CA. Discovered on one of my first attempts to find a San Diegan wild clay a few miles in, like a ruby in a hillside. Glazed on the interior with a clear gloss, food safe, hand wash only.
