The Story I was in the woods harvesting morel mushrooms almost 10 years ago. And I was a bit lost on my way back out, so I took a short cut and looked up before I almost ran into a birch  tree. And there it was. Sheer beauty, a  black crusted clump on a tree as if the birch tree had been stamped with Mother Earth's sea
