Vitis vinifera 'Purpurea'

Purpleleaf Grape, Tenturier grape: Deciduous vine with white-fuzzed burgundy-purple leaves that become crimson colored in the fall. Fragrant greenish flowers bloom in spring, bringing clusters of small edible grapes in the fall. Grows 10-20' tall. Full sun to part sun. Low to medium water. Clay, sand, heat, and drought tolerant once established, but appreciates occasional water.
