ABOUT THE ARTIST Saejean Oh studied illustration at Art Center College of Art and Design and continues to live and work in Los Angeles, California. She is a member of Yello, Friends!, a collective formed at the end of her studies with another illustrator and two designers. Her work has appeared in Juxtapoz, Creative Quarterly, and has been exhibited in numerous group shows.  "I never had to fight to be an artist and art-making was always a fun, freeing, and bonding experience while growing up. My work plays the edge between child-like, carefree innocence and the intensity of an emotion's ability to overwhelm. Studying abroad in India brought me to the Motherland of Color and I was greatly inspired by the appreciation for beauty and joy in everyday life.
