American Plum Seedlings

(Prunus americana) American plum is a thicket forming small tree native to the eastern U.S. Prolific bloomer, makes a great pollinator for hybrid and Japanese type plums as well as a hardy rootstock. Fairly disease resistant including resistance to black knot. Fruit is fairly small by cultivated standards but packs a punch. Sweet flesh and sour skin good for fresh eating, sauces and jellies. Ripens mid summer. Can not ship to Colorado
