Why This Watch Matters This large Eberhard Extra-Fort chronograph features a gorgeous, warm patina on the dial.  The Full Story We typically think about cool vintage chronographs when Eberhard's name comes up, and today's watch perfectly fits the bill. It's fitted in a 38mm case, which is considered a larger size for the 1950s. The dial has an incredible patina, somewhere between a creamy eggshell and a warm toffee color, plus the rich patina on the pink gold hour markers and dauphine hands adds a bit of panache to the look. The blue tachymeter scale on the periphery also brings out pleasant contrast against the rest of the dial.
