Individually caught in the southernmost region of British Columbia, Albacore Tuna is our favorite choice in the Tuna family. Voted a "Best Choice" option by Seafood Watch, albacore populations are healthy and well-managed.  Tasting notes: This tuna has a firm, buttery texture and rich flavor. Its extra fattiness makes it a good option for grilling and searing. How they're fished: Fished using trollers, a series of lures towed slowly behind the boat, this is a more eco-friendly type of fishing that cuts down on bycatch.
