Friars Pennant

The Padres finished in last place in the NL West for the first six years after joining the major league ranks in 1969. It wasn’t until the 1980s that their fortunes would improve, courtesy of future hall-of-famers Dave Winfield, Steve Garvey and Tony Gwynn. One of the game’s all-time hitting greats, Gwynn would rack up eight batting titles as the team won the NL West five times. Our Friars pennant celebrates those 80s heydays and features their signature brown and yellow color scheme and retro lettering proudly worn across the players’ chests.
